New Assistant Professional

The board and professionals are very pleased to announce that Chris Chapman will be joining the team of professionals at RTC in July.

Chris, an Australian with a handicap of 3, started out in squash, building on success at junior level he achieved a senior ranking of number four in the state of Victoria. He also enjoys cricket, golf, basketball and Australian Rules Football.

Chris, 23, has been employed at Royal Melbourne Tennis Club since 2007. He comes highly recommended by his head professional Frank Filipelli, has learnt all the basic skills of a real tennis professional, and is a thoroughly personable young man.

Chris has ambitions to improve his playing skills and Nick Wood believes he can do for him what he did for Ben Matthews, thus continuing the tradition of the RTC in developing the top professionals of the future.
