Format & entry fee
The King's Goblet is a handicap doubles tournament, open to all real tennis players from any club. There are no restrictions on handicaps - in the past we have welcomed players with handicaps ranging from +3 to 103. All we ask is that you have a non-provisional handicap on RTO.
Each pair is guaranteed 5 x 35 minute marked matches in the group stage
At the end of the group stage, all pairs are ranked and the top 8 teams enter a knockout phase
Chalice Challenge : this popular annual event sees the 8 best players (on handicap) pair up to play eachother for the right to play the RTC Professionals, as fellow players cheer them on. A great chance for the lower handicappers to show what they can do!
